Bajaj launches three wheeler with Gasoline Direct Injection technology
Bajaj Auto has announced the launch of their new generation of three-wheelers powered with Gasoline Direct Injection (GDi) technology.
This new technology has been developed in-house by the company which is a major player in the market.
The company claimed that GDi would reduce carbon emissions, while offering more power and greater fuel economy.
RC Maheshwari, head of commercial vehicles for Bajaj Auto added: “As the availability of alternative fuels such as CNG or LNG is limited, a need was felt to develop a new engine that will run on gasoline and meet the strictest emission standards while offering improved performance on power and economy.”
