Bharti Retail to open stores from March 2008
Bharti Retail has announced that they would start opening their retail stores from March next year.
The company has also learnt lessons from the problems faced by rival companies and they are only going to enter friendly states.
They are going to start launching their stores in the North.
Market sources states that Ludhiana is likely to get the first retail store from the company.
Bharti Enterprises managing director Rajan Bharti Mittal added in a statement: “In telecom, when we (Bharti) had started, we too had to face many problems. By the time the fifth or the sixth operator comes in, logistics are in place.”
