Boeing sticking to the current deadline to ship 787 Dreamliner plane

Boeing has stated that they are on track to start delivering the 787 Dreamliner plane to the customers as per their current deadline.

The first of the planes would be delivered later next year. However, the company admitted that there were still significant supply chain wrinkles.

They have received around 762 orders for this plane which is worth around $120 billion at market price.

The plane delivery has already been delayed and they are working hard to make this latest deadline.

Scott Carson, chief of Boeing’s commercial airplane group added in a statement: “There are still challenges, but we have a better grip of what they are. We are not risk free, but better informed in how to knock those risks down.”
