Jet Airways buys five additional Airbus A330-200 aircraft
Indian airline company Jet Airways has revealed that they have placed orders for five more Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
The company needs these planes to replace their aging fleet and add new routes as they face intense competition in the domestic market.
Jet had previously placed order for 10 A330-200 aircraft in 2005. They would get the planes from this new order from October 2009 to 2011.
The company is currently scheduled to launch flights to the United States in August. They are also going to introduce more flights to Europe and North America in the coming months.
