Penthouse Media Group to enter social networking market
Penthouse Media Group has announced that they are now acquiring Various, Inc.
The company is going to spend around $500 million on this acquisition which would give them access to numerous social networking sites.
This would include the profitable AdultFriendFinder.com dating service.
Penthouse Media Group CEO Marc Bell spoke on this acquisition deal: “Various is an attractive addition to our already strong print platform, and one that puts Penthouse in a very robust position in the ever-growing online social networking arena. We like where the business combination puts us and that this transaction will enhance PMGI’s current and future licensing, print and interactive ventures.”
Some other networks included in this deal are: JewishFriendFinder.com, OutPersonals.com, and Cams.com.
