Turner International to launch a Hindi language channel
Turner International has announced that they are now planning to launch a Hindi entertainment channel.
They are also working on launching channels in other regional languages to expand their presence in the Indian market.
They would be working with Alva Brothers (Miditech) for this new venture.
The two companies would now be floating a joint venture company for this new initiative.
Nikhil Alva, co-promoter of Alva Brothers spoke on this new development: “Entering the broadcasting arena with the global expertise of Turner begins an exciting new chapter for Alva Brothers. The (Hindi) channel will provide fresh alternative content to an increasingly discerning audience. We are confident that the differentiated offering will appeal to the audience targeted.”
