Alltel to offer free mobile shopping service to Blackberry users

Mobile service provider Alltel has announced that they are now providing a free mobile shopping service on BlackBerry smartphones.

Blackberry customers on their network would now be able to shop directly from their mobile devices. They get access to stores like Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and Godiva Chocolatier.

Alltel added that the users would get access to a friendly interface which would make it easier for them to browse through the products available on sale.

Other retail stores participating in this program include: Drugstore.com, FTD.com, Fossil, Quickgifts.com, Red Envelope, Vermont Teddy Bears, and Wine.com.
