Hyundai Santa Fe coming to India next year
India’s second largest automaker Hyundai is working hard on launching their Santa Fe SUV product sometime next year.
This car is likely to be sold as an import product and is unlikely to be manufactured locally for the time being.
A company representative added: “The company’s Getz Prime (diesel) and i10 rolled out recently has been appreciated by our customers in the country and we expect the proposed car too to be accepted in India About 80 per cent of our market is Santro, a small car in India.”
Hyundai faces intense competition from Maruti, Tata Motors and other players in the Indian market. GM recently entered the small car segment with their Spark and more players are due to launch their products.
