Shinzo Nakanishi is the new MD of Maruti Suzuki

Shinzo Nakanishi has taken over his new responsibilities at Maruti Suzuki India. He is now the managing director of the India’s leading automobile maker.

Incidentally, this is the first time ever that the company is being headed by a Japanese.

He is taking over from Jagdish Khattar who is retiring after serving at the top spot for nearly eight years.

He has had a massively successful tenure as he maintained the domination of the company in the Indian market.

Nakanishi has been working for Suzuki for 36 years and he has also been the chairman of Maruti for five years.

He is also going to look after Suzuki’s operations in China and West Asia along with India.

24 Oct is the worst day in my life when i buy Maruti Esteem. I spent 5, 50,000 on that product. That is the first car i buy myself i pay all the down payment and the EMI myself threw my salary. So i am very excited about that. But the response from the car and the after sale service is totally poor. I am looking for swift diesel but there is two and half month waiting on that, dealer suggest me to buy an esteem. I told them i am driving approx 100 km in a day so petrol expense not fits on my pocket, they suggested me we give you the esteem with a government approved CNG kit with Apra 40,000 Km warranty. Finally i buy this car on 24th October 2007 from Apra Automobiles Gurgaon. The second day i complaint them i got the power back from that, i haven’t get that power in a/c what i am expecting. But they told me everything is Oks that’s only my thinking. I told them ok but i am not satisfied. Then i drive my friend car i haven’t get that problem in that. Then again i go to Apra service station i told them the same problem but they haven’t listen my problem. Then i complaint Maruti directly. After some days i got a call from Apra, they again recheck but same didn’t except the fault. Then i discuss all this with my friend the advice me to go another service station. Then i go Competent Maruti at Mehrauli. They check the entire car and told me there is a problem in your icwalve and injectors; you have to replace them all. I discuss all this with Apra but they won’t believe. This is only the first problem i am writing. It is very difficult to write all.
    Problems currently i am facing
    • Tyres bubbling after spent lots of money on balancing and alignment
    • Lots of sound from interiors
    • Power loss or pickup problem

Suggestion: – Don’t buy any Maruti product, if you want to waste your money them only buy

    1. I got my car serviced by Sai Service Kondwa. I feel cheated as nothing was done and same dirty car was returned and no one taking the responsibility of the same. I asked service perso to check the Centre lock. They removed it and put in the car drawer with any information to me. When I asked them to put it back they gave me the number od Nippon person as they could not fix it.
    2. When I asked them for contact number of regional manager they did not give.
    3. The contact number mentioned on your site pune regional office is not correct.
    4. When I tried calling ypur head office , My call was not answered.
    5. Call your call centre for the number of pune regional office the agent behaviour was very rude …
    6. Again I tried calling Pune regional office number, no response on any of the numbers.

    Dear Sir,

Myself Brahm Swaroop Rajal. I am an Editor of “Vishwakarma Doot” Newspaper, its publishing since 1994 from Ambala City. And I am the royal customer of Maruti Suzuki since 1999. I have purchase 2 new vehicles from Modern Automobiles in last 10 years.

On date 2 July 2009 a Maruti Sales Executive Name Rahul Sharma came in my office at 5.00 pm and demonstrate about the Model Astar. He produced me a Test Ride of this vehicle on 6.00 pm.. and after that he and Mr. Dikshit Jagota (EDP Incharge) and other three executives put me on pressure to book this vehicle right now. And I give them Rs. 5000/- in cash and a cheque of Rs. One Lac. Even on that time I was totally confused. And Mr. Dikshit give me his visiting card as the receipt of Rs. 5,000/- with the signature on its back. And ensure me that they will present my cheque in bank after my permission.

And in the morning dated 3 July 2009, A man Mr. Kamlesh (ASM) came in my office to demonstrate about Astar from your other Dealer in Ambala M/s Eakansh Wheels. And he offered me better options and schemes on that vehicle. And than I asked to Mr. Rahul about those options and rebates but they can’t afford that. That’s why I cancelled my booking on same day.

Even I already cancelled my booking till they produced my cheque in Bank (which was not cleared).

From the day I cancelled that booking, I give many reminders to Mr. Rahul Sharma but every time he was not in Showroom and ever time he said that he is calling me back. Than I personally visited in Modern Automobiles. But there was no higher authority present in showroom to talk with me. So I retuned back.

After that day I am giving them daily reminder to return back my money and cheque. But they are always ignoring me. Than I called on 1800 1800 180 and there I told all about this episode to Mr. Shalain (Shalam) and he gave me a number of Higher Authorities in Punchkula (0172-2780057). And I called on this number 3 times from the day I got this number but every time they ask my name and phone number and ensure to call me back but till now the result is a BIG ZERO.

One the other side after the cancellation of booking in Modern Automobiles. I purchased that Car from other dealer M/s Eakansh wheels on dated 5 July 2009. and they delivered my car at my home with Temp. Number and Insurance papers only. (without no other paper i.e. Invoice/Bill/Warranty of the vehicle).
Now a new story is this that I have not received my bill till this date I am writing you this letter. Due to that reason I can’t take my registration number from Motor Vehicle Authority. And any time I can be Punished or Fined coz of without registration number.

Please show me the way …. What I can do in both matters (stories) I written above…
