Intuit acquiring Electronic Clearing House Inc.

Intuit Inc. has announced that they are now acquiring Electronic Clearing House Inc.

The deal is worth around $131 million and it would be conducted in a cash only transaction.

Intuit further said that they are expecting this acquisition deal to be slightly dilutive in fiscal 2008 and 2009.

Incidentally, they had earlier tried to acquire the company in 2006. But the two companies later on mutually terminated that deal.
