Blockbuster services to cost more now

Blockbuster has said that they are now raising the prices of their services. The company would now charge more for their DVD-by-mail service for new customers.

Some existing customers would also be required to pay higher prices.

The company said that the hikes of $2 to $10 will take effect next week. This has not amused the service users who are now likely to move to competing services.

Netflix is one company which would gain from this latest move by Blockbuster.

Blockbuster has not specifically release the number of existing customers who are going to be affected by these hiked prices.
