Yahoo to provide mobile Web services to America Movil

Internet company Yahoo has signed on a major deal to provide mobile web services to America Movil.

Yahoo would be providing these services to 16 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.

This deal with America Movil would see Yahoo’s oneSearch service to be the default solution on America Movil’s wireless carriers’ portals.

Yahoo would further improve the services by localizing these services.

This deal happens to be the largest of its kind by Yahoo which is competing with MSN and Google to expand their presence in the mobile services market.
