Air India launching Delhi-New York non-stop flight
Government owned airline company Air India has announced that they are now launching their Delhi-New York non-stop flight on February 8.
A company representative said: “We have scheduled the launch of this non-stop flight for February 8.”
Air India is scheduled to get the delivery of another Boeing 777-200 by then which would be used on this route.
The company had earlier this year launched their Mumbai-New York non-stop flight.
Air India further said in a statement about the lack of pilots in the market: “We have been recruiting commanders from the international market on an on-going basis in line with our aircraft induction programme.”
