Fujitsu exiting from plasma television industry

Japanese company Fujitsu group has announced that they are now exiting from the plasma televisions segment of the market.

They introduced this technology to the world but it has failed to compete with other existing technologies in the market.

The company said that they are forced to exit from this market as it is not turning profits for them.

Fujitsu General said in a statement: “During the past several years, the pricing and profitability of this segment has compressed beyond the point which our company could realize a satisfactory return on investment.”

Panasonic remains one of the few companies which continue to remain loyal to this technology based products.
