Ribbit launches Amphibian service

Ribbit is a new startup based in the Silicon Valley which has been working on developing solutions to enable developers to embed phone-like voice features in a variety of devices and services.

They have now unveiled their latest service named Amphibian. Crick Waters, Ribbit’s vice president of strategy spoke about this new service: “We are merging computers and telephony in a true sense.”

This new product has been designed to enable voice features available on phones on computers and web sites.

They aim to make it available within the first quarter of the current year. It would enable customers to have two-way phone conversations through Web pages.
