Tata unit to supply parts for Boeing 787 Dreamliner
Tata subsidiary TCS is already working with Ferrari on their Formula-1 cars.
There is more good news for the company as a company unit is now going to supply parts for the 787 Dreamliner commercial jets.
Boeing has announced that they are now collaborating with TAL Manufacturing Solutions Ltd. to make floor beams for the 787.
TAL would be manufacturing these parts at their Nagpur factory. These would then be supplied to the company for assembly.
Tata Motors Managing Director Ravi Kant spoke about this deal with Boeing: “This agreement has the potential to develop into a more broad-based alliance”.
