VJM-01 is the name of the 2008 Force India car
Force India has announced that they are naming their 2008 car VJM-01 in honor of the team boss Vijay Mallya.
The car would be driven by Giancarlo Fisichella and Adrian Sutil in the Formula-1 season later this year.
Team boss Colin Kolles said in a statement that the car is an updated version of the Spyker edition. He added: “It’s too early to show the final race version that will be used in Melbourne.”
Kolles further said: “We have improved in terms of understanding the set-up, which is basically due to the drivers. But our engineering department needs to deliver.”
