Air India launches direct New Delhi-New York flight
State owned airline company Air India has launched their direct flight from New Delhi to New York.
The airline claimed that their flight would cut down the travel time between the two cities by around three hours.
They are using a state-of-the-art Boeing 777-200LR aircraft for this flight. This is their second such direct flight to the US from India.
Air India had last year introduced its first daily, non-stop service from New York to Mumbai on a Boeing 777-200LR.
The company added that these planes are equipped with latest in-flight features including on-demand audio and video entertainment.
