Yahoo expected to reject Microsoft offer
Market sources are stating that the internet media giant Yahoo is most likely to reject the offer proposed by Microsoft for a possible acquisition.
This decision of the company is expected to be delivered officially to the software industry giant tomorrow.
If this is true, it might be just the beginning of a long battle between the two technology giants both of which are trying to challenge Google in the new internet era.
Yahoo executives have stated in the past that they had like to operate as an independent entity but the falling revenues and the struggle to compete against the likes of Google is making things complicated for them.
Market analyst Sandeep Aggarwal spoke about this rumor in the market: “To me, it seems like a rejection of the Microsoft offer at its current price, not a rejection of Microsoft.”
