Wipro wins a mega outsourcing deal from HDFC Bank

Wipro InfoTech has bagged a mega outsourcing deal from the HDFC Bank. The deal is worth around USD 80 million and is one of the largest ever for the Indian IT company. Wipro as a part of this deal would be providing comprehensive IT outsourcing services to the HDFC Bank.

The deal would see Wipro providing IT infrastructure on build, own, operate basis for the existing and new branches of HDFC Bank. It would include branches of the bank located in India, Middle East, and Asia Pacific Division.

Wipro said in a statement that they would be providing comprehensive infrastructure management services for Data Centre, networks and end-user equipment and this would be managed by the company under their Program Governance framework.

The contract is valid for a period of around 10 years.
