Dell acquiring e-mail services provider MessageOne

US based personal computer maker Dell has announced that they are now acquiring business e-mail services provider MessageOne Inc

Incidentally, the company was co-founded by the brother of the founder of Dell Inc.

The company provides services which compete in the market with rival services from tech giants Google and Microsoft.

The deal is worth around $155 million and would be conducted in a cash transaction.

Steve Schuckenbrock, Dell chief information officer spoke about this deal: “It simplifies (IT) for our customers. It will compete up against … solutions that are emerging in the market from companies like Google, like Microsoft and others.”
