Yahoo India sack 45 staffers in Bangalore
The cost cutting efforts taken by internet media giant Yahoo is showing its effect in the Indian market as well.
The company has now fired around 45 workers from their Indian operations located in Bangalore.
Yahoo! India has not given any statement on these firings though these are said to be part of their routine “trimming process”.
Sources say that the company is also likely to fire more employees in the future based on poor performances. They are likely to keep the performers working for them in the country.
Yahoo! India was established in 2000 and they have working together with partners on their online services targeted at Indian web users.
They have around 1000 people working at their center in Bangalore in South India.

Good piece of information, firing employees to cut the cost for the company may be good for the company economy, but its a bad news for the employers, i guess they need to get ready for the real tough competition within the company or look for some other options. I am looking forward for more such news.
