Vodafone launches Internet Services division headed by Microsoft guy

Mobile Service Provider Vodafone has announced the launch of their new Internet Services division.

This unit is being headed by Microsoft veteran Pieter Knook and he would now be looking after the company’s mobile Internet strategy.

This division of the company would now look after Vodafone’s mobile internet and content services.

Pieter Knook would be joining the company next month after spending 17 years with Microsoft. He had been managing Microsoft’s mobile business since the last couple of years.

Microsoft is said to be considering naming Andrew Lees as his replacement.
