Research in Motion: Blackberry downtime due to system upgrade problem
Research in Motion has now stated the reason behind the recent outage of their services in the US market.
The company said that the problem was due to the failure of one of its recently upgraded systems.
The outage had lasted for several hours but the company maintains that no data was lost during that period.
RIM further said in its statement: “RIM apologizes to its customers for any inconvenience.”
The company has been upgrading their infrastructure continuously to manage the ever increasing load and new subscribers.
