Bill Gates: We are not raising the bid for Yahoo!

Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates has clarified that the company is not raising their bid for the internet media giant Yahoo!

Gates said in his statement: “We sent them a letter and said we think that’s a fair offer. There’s nothing that’s gone on other than us stating that we think it’s a fair offer. They should take a hard look at it.”

The company surprised the market analysts by launching a $44.6 billion bid for Yahoo!

Yahoo! later on rejected the bid saying that the value of the deal was too low.

Analysts now believe that Microsoft is not going to give up on Yahoo! so soon. They are likely to pursue it with a better deal or go to their investors which the offer.
