Verizon Wireless launches unlimited calling plan for USD 99.99
Verizon Wireless has announced the launch of an unlimited calling plan for USD 99.99 a month.
The plan comes with no additional roaming or long-distance fees.
Market analysts believe that this new plan from the company can launch a new price war amongst the service providers in the country.
Other players in the market do provide such unlimited plans but none of them are applicable throughout the country.
Sprint Nextel is most likely to be the first rival in the market to match the pricing as they are the biggest target for Verizon.
Verizon Wireless in addition also announced the launch of their $39.99-a-month plan for cellular broadband using PC plug-in cards. It comes with a 50 megabytes download limit.
