Paul Liska is the new CFO at Motorola

Mobile phone maker Motorola has announced the appointment of Paul Liska as their new Chief Financial Officer.

Liska has worked previously in private equity firms including MidOcean Partners, CVC Capital Holdings and Ripplewood Holdings LLC. He has also worked at executive positions in US Freightways and Sears, Roebuck and Co.

He would be taking over his position in the company starting next month.

The company said that Liska would report directly to their Chief Executive Greg Brown.

Greg Brown himself is new to his position as he recently replaced Ed Zander at the top of the company.
