Honda India aims to boost sales with expanded production facility
Honda Motor has said that they are aiming to boost their sales by around 32 percent next fiscal year.
The company has expanded their manufacturing capacity in the country as they aim to fulfill the demand for their City and Civic models.
Honda India is now aiming to sell 90,000 vehicles in India in the year starting April.
Tatsuhiro Oyama, president of Honda’s Asian operations spoke about the Indian market: “India’s the most exciting auto market in Asia and we are committed to growth in this market”.
Honda India is the fourth largest automaker in the country and they are already working on setting up a new factory in northern Rajasthan state.
In addition to City and Civic, Honda India also offers on sale their Accord and CR-V sport-utility vehicles.
