Visa to file for an IPO to raise $17 billion
Visa Inc is the world’s largest credit-card network and they are preparing to launch their IPO.
The company has filed to raise up to $17 billion through this IPO which is expected to become the largest initial public offering ever.
They are planning to list its share on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol V.
Visa has filed to sell 406 million class A shares for between $37 and $42 a share. This IPO is likely to become larger than the $10.6 billion offering by AT&T Wireless Group earlier this decade.
