Verizon Wireless to soon release specification for Any Device, Any App service
US based telecom operator Verizon Wireless would come out with their first technical specifications for devices which would be able to use their “Any Device, Any App” service.
These specifications would be released at its developer conference on March 19.
Verizon is planning to launch their network only service later this year which would allow mobile users in the market to use any device (meeting Verizon’s specification) on their network.
This would be different from the current model where the telecom company provides the customer with a customized cell phone which works only on their network.
