Motorola gets a contact with Zain Saudi Arabia
US based telecom equipment maker Motorola has revealed that they have won a $335 million contract with Zain Saudi Arabia.
The two companies would collaborate to setup a mobile phone network in this market.
Zain Saudi Arabia would start operations in the country this year after paying $6.1 billion for the mobile license.
Marwan al-Ahmadi, Chief Executive of Zain Saudi Arabia spoke about their deal with Motorola: “Motorola is a partner of Zain in many countries, not just in Saudi Arabia.”
They have earlier given an order worth $935 million to Nokia Siemens Networks.
