General Motors India doing well with sales improvement of 80%

General Motors India has said that their sales in the month of February were up 80 per cent compared to the same period previous year.

The company sold 5,563 units as against 3,087 units last year in the month of February.

GM India’s sales figures:

Chevrolet Tavera: 1,681 units
Chevrolet Aveo and Chevrolet Aveo UV-A: 1,102 units
Chevrolet Optra: 360 units
Chevrolet Spark: 2,229 units
Chevrolet Captiva: 191 units

GM India Vice President P Balendran spoke about this improved performance: “We are very pleased to see such a robust growth for all our carlines under the Chevrolet brand. With the consistent surge in monthly sales, our key focus remains to address the changing customer needs while providing them world class products and best in class service.”
