ICICI Bank launches a branch in New York

India’s leading private bank ICICI has announced the launch of their first American branch in New York City.

With this the company has now started a new era of their globalization.

The ICICI Bank’s New York branch is located in midtown Manhattan and they are going to provide a suite of banking services.

The company said that the services would include working capital, acquisition finance, trade service and treasury solutions to corporates, and savings products to qualified individuals, subject to guidelines.

K V Kamath, managing director and CEO of ICICI Bank added in a statement on this new development: “For us, this is an important step and marks a milestone in our globalization effort that started four years ago.”
