Walt Disney to develop Japanese content in Japan
Walt Disney is rumored to be planning to collaborate with Japanese companies to produce content for television in this market.
The US based entertainment giant would work with several players like Toei Animation Co., Madhouse Co. and Jinni’s Animation Studios on this initiative.
An inside source said that the company is aiming to expand its presence in this big market through localized content.
Disney incidentally already has its own animation and movie channels in more than 100 countries, including Japan.
