Canon to boost camera production in China
Canon has announced that they are now going to boost production of digital cameras in China.
They are also planning to establish a new laser printer plant in Vietnam.
Both of these initiatives are aimed to meet the growing demand for their products in the developing markets.
Canon said that they are now going to double their production capacity of compact digital cameras at a plant located in China’s Guangdong province.
They are also going to invest an additional $50 million to set up a new plant in northern Vietnam which will assemble low-cost printers.
