Casey Keller leaves Motorola as its chief marketing officer
Mobile phone maker Motorola has announced that their chief marketing officer, Casey Keller is leaving the company as part of the restructuring process.
The company is facing a proxy battle with billionaire investor Carl Icahn who wants drastic changes at Motorola which is struggling to compete against Nokia and other rivals in the mobile phone industry.
Motorola had said earlier this year that they were considering various steps to fix the mess including splitting off its mobile phone division.
They are still one of the leading makers of mobile phones in the US market but continue to suffer in the international market where Samsung and Nokia are dominating them.
