U-Prove technology acquired by Microsoft
Microsoft continues to acquire new companies to boost their product and service portfolio.
The software giant has now acquired U-Prove technology which allows Internet users to disclose only the minimum amount of personal information while transacting online.
The service also makes use of cryptography to prevent systems from pulling together information about users from various sources.
The two companies did not reveal the financial details of this acquisition deal.
Microsoft however did say that they would integrate this acquired technology into their Windows Communication Foundation and CardSpace.
