BMW to enhance production in US market
World’s largest maker of luxury cars BMW has announced that they are now going to spend $750 million to expand its South Carolina factory in the USA to enhance their production capabilities.
BMW added that this expansion would add 500 jobs at the plant which would then produce three models.
The company is aiming to boost its production capabilities to 240,000 vehicles a year by 2012.
Market analysts said that BMW would save money by building cars in the US market considering US Dollar is struggling against the Euro.
