Reliance Energy to become Reliance Infrastructure

From BSES to Reliance Energy to now Reliance Infrastructure. Reliance continues to change their brand name for this division which they say would now capture the current nature of various business segments it is involved in.

The company’s board has given its approval for the name change and they are now going to seek the approval from the stock holders.

Reliance said that this company is currently the largest private EPC player in India’s power sector. It further said that JP Chalasani has now taken over the position at the company as the CEO of Reliance Power.
