Xiam Technologies acquired by Qualcomm

Mobile technology company QUALCOMM has announced that they are now acquiring Irish software developer Xiam Technologies which specializes in providing mobile advertising services.

The acquisition deal is worth around US$32 million.

The company now aims to provide additional services on the mobile platform through this acquisition.

Mobile Personal Offers System is one of the prime offering from Xiam and it provides relevant mobile advertising.

Qualcomm stated that they are going to offer MPOS as a stand-alone product in addition to bundling it with their other software tools for operators.
