Disney has no interest in acquiring AOL
Market sources say that Time Warner is expected to sell off their internet division AOL which is struggling against rivals including Google, Yahoo and Microsoft.
Walt Disney was rumored to be one of the interested parties though the company has now made it clear that they have no interest in AOL.
Walt Disney Co. CEO Robert Iger said in a statement that the company is working on boosting revenues from internet technologies but acquiring AOL is not on their to-do list.
They are one of the major supporters of the Apple iTunes digital media store offering their movies on sale through it.
