Microsoft now acquires Rapt advertising company
Microsoft continues its acquisition spree as they have now gobbled up Rapt which is based in San Francisco.
Rapt specializes in offering advertising yield management tools for online media companies. Microsoft said that these tools are to predict demand for advertising and optimize the price and placement of ads thus improving the revenues from ads.
The software giant added that they are now planning to integrate these tools into their own Atlas Publisher Suite.
The two companies did not disclose the financial aspects of this acquisition deal.
