BladeLogic acquired by BMC Software

BMC Software has announced that they are now acquiring BladeLogic.

BladeLogic specializes in developing datacenter automation software.

The deal is worth around $800 million.

BMC Software said that the deal is important for them as BladeLogic is one of the fastest growing companies in the IT management software market.

BladeLogic’s board of directors has already given its approval to this acquisition.

BMC said that they would now integrate BladeLogic technologies into their business service management portfolio.
