Greenpeace pleased with Toshiba and Samsung
Greenpeace has come out with their latest environmental ranking of consumer electronics companies and Toshiba and Samsung have topped the charts.
This chart ranks the companies based on their recycling policies and the toxic content of their products.
Toshiba managed to climb six places on the chart from previous report to tie at the top with previous leader Samsung.
Nokia suffered on this latest list due to their take-back recycling program. Greenpeace said that they found that their staff in the Philippines, Thailand, Argentina, Russia, and India was not really informed about the program and hence they failed to implement it properly.
