NewsX channel launched by INX Media
India media company INX Media has announced the launch of their news channel named NewsX.
The company said that NewsX would be a 24-hour English news channel.
They already operate two other television channels:
9XM: dedicated to music
9X: dedicated to Hindi entertainment content
NewsX would now compete with other English channels in the Indian market including CNN-IBN and NDTV 24×7.
Peter Mukerjea spoke about the achievements of the company: “March 2007 to March 2008 has been an interesting year for INX. We have achieved all that we planned and set out to achieve so far.”
