Malaysian Airline to buy 55 new Boeings
Malaysian Airline System Bhd is said to have placed orders for as many as 55 new Boeing narrow-body aircrafts.
This order is worth around $3.4 billion at market price of the planes.
This was revealed in reports in domestic newspapers.
The sources further said that these planes would be delivered from 2011 onwards.
The airline company would use these new planes to replace their ageing fleet of 111 aircraft.
Malaysian Airline had recently said that they are scheduled to announce major orders for planes.
