Motorola to stop manufacturing mobile phones in Singapore
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has announced that they are now going to stop manufacturing mobile phones in Singapore.
This decision would result in a loss of around 700 jobs.
Motorola is struggling in the mobile phone industry and they recently announced their decision to separate this entity.
A company representative confirmed: “Approximately 700 Singapore-based, permanent Motorola employees will be impacted.”
In other news, India’s Videocon Group is considering bidding for the Motorola’s Mobile Phone business.
