Lenovo exits mobile phone business
Lenovo Group has confirmed that they have now completely exited from the mobile phone business.
The china based company sold their mobile phone division to a group of investors.
The company never had much success with mobile phones and they finally decided that the business was a distraction from the company’s core PC business.
They were primarily selling their mobile phones in the Chinese market which is one of the largest in the world. The competition is tough and sales were too low for them to keep it integrated with their operations.
