Advanced Micro Devices cutting 10% of its workforce
AMD is the second largest maker of microprocessors for personal computers. The company has been struggling since sometime to compete against the market leader Intel.
It is now apparent as they have now revealed their decision to cut 10 percent of its work force.
This decision was made after the company’s first-quarter sales fell more than it had expected.
AMD added that they are also now expecting to record a restructuring charge in the second quarter.
The details are yet to be released to the media.
