Boeing 787 Dreamliner delayed even more
Boeing has announced that they are delaying their 787 Dreamliner for the third time.
With this, the new model is now about 15 months behind schedule.
The company is taking more than expected time to get this revolutionary plane ready for primetime.
Boeing is also suffering delays due to problems with suppliers providing equipment for this plane.
Market analyst Michael Derchin spoke about this latest delay: “It appears that Boeing has finally produced a realistic timetable, even if first deliveries are now five quarters delayed from their initial schedule. Execution of the new plan is critical and any slippages from here would be negatively received.”
